The Home Going Service for Lottie Mack will be on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Crusaders For Christ Church (33 Reeves Road, Bridgeton, NJ 08302).

The viewing will begin at 10am and the service will begin at 11am.

The repass will be at the Cornbread House (1167 Bridgeton-Millville Pike, Bridgeton, NJ 08302) immediately following the burial.

Alright folks, Saturday, August 7th is a little more than 3 weeks away.
Here's the latest info.

TIME AND PLACE:
The picnic starts at 1pm and the exact address is

Pennsville, NJ 08070

WHO'S BRINGING WHAT:
Cassie - Baked beans
Rozzi - Banana pudding
Robert - Various desserts
Janice - Spanish rice
Sharee - Chicken and hamburgers
Fred - Games, prizes and drinks
Tonya - Hot dogs and chips
Felicia - Rolls, drinks and chips
Anyah - Ribs, chips and pretzels
(I know I'm missing two other people)

WHAT WE STILL NEED:
Plates
Napkins
Spoons, Forks, Knives
Cups
Somebody to cook (Robert. No pressure)
More rolls
And other covered dishes (because we all like to eat.)

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Relay races (2 kids, 2 adults)
Kickball game (my team will win again)
Dance contest (for the kids, please)
Family and group photos (by yours truly)
Whiffle ball game (Rob's team lost)
Name That Tune (4 person teams)
And any other fun ideas I can come up with.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Let me know what you're bringing (if you haven't done so already). Otherwise, just bring a covered dish, dessert or drinks.
Oh, and spread the word to other cousins who aren't on Facebook.

2nd Annual Cousins' Picnic

Saturday, August 7th, at Pennsville Park will be the 2nd Annuall Cousins' Picnic. After a very successful year in 2009, we're looking to have a better time this year. There will be relay races, a kickball tournament, a whiffle ball game, and a brand new "Name That Tune" for the older people who know there 90's music. Come for the fun, food and family.

Is There A Doctor In The House?

The family's first medical doctor, Dr. Jimmy Moss graduated from medical at Florida State University this past weekend. A bus load of family members traveled to witness one of the greatest achievements in our families history. Congratulations to Dr. Jimmy Moss, M.D., and his wife Chanel. We're all so proud!

Mary Swain's 60th Birthday Bash

On February 27th, family and friends from all over came out to celebrate the 60th birthday of Mary Swain. Daughters Cassandra Hayes, Tracey Lopez and Hope Robertson organized an amazing party with lots of entertainment, games & prizes, decorations, good food, and several special presentations to the birthday girl. Jelessa Walters (daughter of Rozzi Bland) gave birth to her new baby boy, Devion Der'ron Watson, on July 6, 2009. He weighed in at 7lbs 1oz. That makes 5 cousins born on that day.

Willie Marshall and Tiffany Holden will be college graduates this month! Willie is receiving his degree from Viriginia State University on May 16th, and Tiffany will be receiving her degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University on May 21st.

The families of the graduates will be hosting a graduation party on Saturday, May 23rd, at 1pm, at the home of Rosa and Willie Holden. All are welcome!

Hope Suffers A Broken Arm

In a fall down accident, Hope Swain-Robertson broke her humerus (bone between the shoulder and elbow) in two places on Sunday, March 29th. She was admitted into the hospital and underwent surgery on Tuesday, March 31st. She is recuperating and is expected to return home on Wednesday, April 1st.
